Training center in Taiwan inaugurated
In July, Ms. Yang Jia, Vice Director of Erbe China, travelled to Taiwan to inaugurate the Erbe Greater China Interventional Pulmonology Training Center in the Department of Pulmonology of China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) in Taiwan.
According to the Times Higher Education World Universities Ranking 2013-2014, the institution is one of the best hospitals in the world. 9000 diagnostic and treatment procedures were carried out there in the last ten years. In the last three and a half years, biopsies and other pulmonological interventions were performed by the pulmonologists in 300 patients. The department is one of the most influential interventional departments in all of Taiwan and will from now on enjoy active support by the experts of Erbe China.
"We expect that in future even more doctors from Asian hospitals will come here to communicate with the pneumology department of China Medical University Hospital and to improve their skills with the aid of our technologies and applications", says Shuzhan Xu from Erbe China Ltd's marketing department.
Founded in 1958, the China Medical University (CMU) with headquarters in Taichung, a town in central Taiwan, was the first non-profit academic institution in Taiwan to offer courses of studies in Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology. With well-designed, internationally competitive programs and prestigious lecturers from China and all over the world, the university has, over the course of time, developed into one of the leading medical universities in Taiwan and the Greater China Region.
